Data Scientist
I am working as a Senior Data Scientist at Microsoft Corporation Germany. Empowering some of the world's largest companies to build intelligent solutions by combining the power of the Open source technologies and Microsoft Azure Cloud with Data Science.
I personally like to work in an entrepreneurial environment with the freedom of working on new ideas which has potential to create new business and significant impact on society. In Germany, I do not see that kind of mindset especially in major companies but you think you are different then I will be happy to have a chat.

Demand Forecasting in Supply Chain Management
At Continental, I assumed the role of product owner for our AI-powered Automated Demand Forecasting Platform which sits at the heart of our Tires supply chain. I lead the development of the platform to make it the platform of choice in the Continental world when it comes to Demand Forecasting.
Project Experience
- Client: European Financial Authority: Developed an Intelligent Risk Model for ABS credit Loans (Asset-backed Securities) by using state-of-the-art ML algorithms implemented in Python, Scala, and Hive
- Client: European Financial Regulatory Authority: Developed an Anomaly Detection system using unsupervised ML Algorithms and designed a web application as a front-end using Python, Bootstrap, and Docker
- Client: A Leading Automobile company, Germany: Developed a Search Engine for RfQ documents (.doc, .pdf, .xls) to reduce response time for sales quotes from months to days by using Natural language processing (NLP), Python and designed a front-end using Flask, Docker, and Apache Solr
- Client: A Large Retailer chain, Germany: Developed a Demand Forecasting System to efficiently forecast daily demand of retail products by using state- of-the-art Statistical and ML Algorithms implemented in Python and Python-based ML Libraries
- Client: A DAX 30 Automobile company, Germany: Developed an Automated Corporate Travel Management System to reduce the time to fulfill the bureaucratic requirements (e.g., insurance) for international travel from days to minutes by using Python based robots (Robotic Process Automation)
- Client: A DAX 30 Chemical & Pharmaceuticals company, Germany: Designed the Target Architecture for the integration of an NLP-based Digital Assistant for recruiting and HR promotion process using Cloud-based technology vendors
- Fraud Analytics Platform: Designed and developed a web-based Fraud Analytics Platform to intelligently detect fraudulent transactions using both supervised and unsupervised ML algorithms implemented in Python, Docker, Flask, and Material Design
- Travel Recommender: Designed and developed a Travel Recommender System to recommend next travel destination based on past travel history using state-of-the-art recommender algorithms and implemented in Python, Docker, Flask, and Materialize CSS
- Data Science Platform: Developed a Data Science Hosting Platform to facilitate a centralized hosting of Data Science related prototypes to enhance client presentation experience by including relevant prototype demos from this platform
Anomaly Detection
Development of a Real-time Anomaly Detection system to automatically flag an Abnormal user behavior in Panel data consisting of millions of daily transactions using Bayesian approach implemented in Python and Hive.
Automation - Financial Data Processing
Designing and the development of the approaches to enable Automated Financial (Invoice) Data Processing to reduce Payment processing time from weeks to minutes by using sophisticated Regular Expressions

BMBF, Leibniz Universität | October 2015
- The Deutschlandstipendium (German Scholarship) supports highly talented students at all participating universities in Germany. Universities in cooperation with Federal government provides 300 EUR a month.
Microsoft | June 2016
- Participated in the Internet-of-Things 48-hours Hackathon by Micorosft. We developed a sensor box which measures the environment data e.g. weather and display on a dashboard.
European Commission | April 2015
- European commission sponsored this program to promote entrepreneurship among young students. We found a startup called SensePro and won 2nd prize in the startup pitch competiton.
UP Technical University | April 2013
- An Inter-college tech festival and I participated in competitions on Web designing and System Hacking. I have been awarded 1st and 2nd prize respectively in both the competitons.
